Monash Health was exploring non-pharmacological options to help manage pain and anxiety for expectant mothers undergoing External Cephalic Version (ECV). AloXR developed Skylights, an immersive VR experience designed to provide a calming, engaging distraction during the procedure.

Patients found themselves lying beneath a moonlit sky in a tranquil field, mirroring their physical position during treatment. As glowing lanterns drifted overhead, they reached up to light as many as possible, transforming the night sky into a tapestry of colour while helping shift attention away from the procedure.
